Hello, and welcome to the new and improved website for The Pretty Little Lifters!
Hopefully by now you’ve had some time to take a look around, but if you haven’t, go do that as soon as you’re done reading this post. I wanted to take a moment to a) welcome you to the new website, and b) tell you a little bit about my plans for PLL.
For those of you who don’t know, I am a full time P.E. and health teacher. Yes, I really do live and breathe health and wellness. I can’t lie, I got so busy for a while that PLL has definitely taken a back seat in my life. It’s time to bring it back in full force. Aside from totally refreshed visuals, strategy, and branding (courtesy of the AMAZING Nicole Nixon), and refreshed website copy by TALENTED word magician Kori Whitby, we have a completely new outlook on life and business. Here’s what you can expect from The Pretty Little Lifters now that we’re back and better than ever–
More education
I will be providing updated, FUN resources for the PLL community. If you’ve ever been interested in learning how to lift, or stepping into the weight room with confidence, you’ll want to stay tuned. This means tips and techniques, lifestyle and mindset shifts, and a whole lot of mythbusting. Because let’s face it, there’s too much misinformation floating around the health and wellness space. You can access these resources for free by tuning in here on the blog and signing up for my email list.
New and improved services
I am SO ready to start taking on new clients! I’ve launched new services to help you feel confident and be safe in the weight room, for a whole range of budget levels. Because I work with young women, I know that money can be tight sometimes. That’s why my services are meant to give you a big impact with an affordable price tag. You can work with me in 1:1 coaching, we can come up with a custom workout program for you, and I can help you improve your technique.
More resources for teachers
Shaping the way that teens think about body image, nutrition, and exercise is a lifelong passion. As a California credentialed P.E. and health teacher with a Masters of Teaching from USC, and a youth fitness specialist, I have a whole host of resources and curriculum to share with my fellow teachers. It’s time to bring health and P.E. classes into the modern age, with healthy choices and body positivity at the forefront. I have the resources to help you do just that. Plus, you’ll be the coolest teacher ever.
More speaking engagements and brand partnerships
Since founding The Pretty Little Lifters, I’ve had the opportunity to do some incredible things (like become a Nike legacy coach and speak onstage at Michelle Obama’s book tour). We are manifesting more of that with this rebrand. More partnering with brands that support our mission, more speaking engagements that can inspire and empower people. If you’re a
health/fitness/wellness brand, or if you’re hosting an event that you want PLL to be a part of–hello! I’m ready for you.
But most importantly, we’re going to say byeeee to outdated beauty standards, diet culture, and what society thinks a woman should look, think, or act like. This is such an exciting time to be a part of the PLL community. We’ve got big things on the horizon, so I hope you’ll stick around for them!
If you’re here, say hi in the comments and subscribe to my email list! I’d love to connect with you.
